Obituary of Gerald Bursey

BURSEY, Gerald - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, August 1, 2003, Gerald Bursey of Broad Cove, age 73 years. Predeceased by sister: Florence; brother: Frederick; infant brother: Ismael; infant twins Donald and Clyde. Leaving to mourn wife: Betty; children: Tanya (Paul) Magnan and Steven Bursey, both of Manitoba, Donald (Janice) Bursey and William (Sherrie) Bursey, both of Ontario; step-children: Kenneth (Marg) Harris, Alberta, Peter (Valerie) Harris, Elaine (Keith) Brown, Laurene (Thomas) Kelso and Kathrine (James) Roughley, all of Ontario; seventeen grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother: George (Juta) Bursey, Ontario; two sisters: Dorothy (Ralph) Wheeler, Long Pond and Maisie (Jack) Merton, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 4. Then resting at St. Andrews by the Sea United Church, Old Perlican after 12:30 p.m. Monday, August 4 and from where the funeral service will take place on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the St. Andrews by the Sea United Cemetery, Old Perlican. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund or to St. Andrews by the Sea United Cemetery Fund, Old Perlican.
