SLADE, Tobias - Passed suddenly away at his residence on Monday, September 1, 2003, Tobias Slade of Western Bay, age 77 years. Predeceased by wife: Elsie; son: Ronald; brothers and sisters. Leaving to mourn five sons: Roy, Toronto, Harold (Tina), Alberta, Victor (Barb), Carbonear, Harry (Sandra), St. John's and Robert (Wendy), Western Bay; six grandchildren: Christina. Melina, Celena 'CJ', Holly, Corey and Ricky; one great-grandson: Adam; two brothers: George (Minnie), Carbonear and Jethro (Joan) Western Bay; one sister: Ruby (Ronald) Legge, Twillingate; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Main Highway, Western Bay until 12:00 noon Thursday, September 4. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church and Cemetery, Western Bay South. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Tobias Slade Memorial Fund
