Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, May 2, 2016, Mollie L. Oliver of Burnt Point, age 84 years. Former church organist for Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Predeceased by husband: Jethro; parents: Jabez and Florence Button; brother: Gordon (Diana). Leaving to mourn, two sons: Earl, Burnt Point and Terry (Judy), Blackhead; four grandchildren: Melanie (Sheldon), Neil (Carolyn), Ashley and Adam; one great-grandchild: Jayden; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m; then resting at Memorial United Church, Burnt Point on Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the United Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Memorial United Church, c/o Esther Reynolds, General Delivery, Caplin Cove, NL, A0A 1R0.
