December 29, 1924 - May 2, 2016 Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, May 2, 2016, L. Ruby Perry of Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Chesley Joseph; parents: Thomas and Rachel Brown; six brothers: Cyril, Jack, Eric, Everett, Al, and Doug; two sisters: Winnie and Olga; son-in-law: Bruce Gibbons. Leaving to mourn, one son: Nicholas (Judie), Winnipeg, MB; four daughters: Jeanne (Terry) Whelan, Mount Pearl, Lillian Gibbons, Kemptville, ON, Jacqueline (David) Bussey, Windsor, ON and Rachelle (Larry) O'Shea, Harbour Grace; nine grandchildren: Jessica (Julian), Michael, Meaghan (Matt), Nicole (Ed), Jaime, Shawn (Stephanie), Krissy (Kris), Brendan (Diane), and Kathy (Matt); eight great-grandchildren: Fox, Luke, Max, Anna, Holly, Emmett, William, and Hanna; brother-in-law: Raymond 'Nipsy' Perry, Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Effie Perry, Harbour Grace and Carol Daniel, Las Vegas, Nevada; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
