Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Friday, May 6, 2016, Amos Forward of Carbonear, age 79 years. Predeceased by wife: Marlene; parents: Mark and Elsie; brothers: Frank, Melvin, and Alfred; sisters: Phyllis and Elsie. Leaving to mourn, spouse: Sharron Emerson; son: Brian (Tina), Victoria; two grandchildren: Brooklyn and Matieo; special niece: Phyllis Forward, Victoria and special friends: Mona and Dennis Cole, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 10 Pippy Place, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3X3 or online at kidney.ca.
