Passed peacefully but suddenly away at Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, Ontario on Friday, January 8, 2016, Brian G. Curran of Brampton; formerly of Carbonear, age 52 years. Predeceased by mother: Traute ‘Mary’. Leaving to mourn, father: Bill, Carbonear; three sisters: Monica (Peter) Connors, Georgetown, ON, Angela (Bryan) Majuery, Carbonear and Beverley Curran, Kelowna, BC; two brothers: Tony (Carol), Dundalk, ON and Mike (Louise), Brampton, ON; a large number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Inurnment to follow in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 835 Topsail Road, Unit 107, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 3J6.
