August 31, 1926 - May 7, 2016 Passed peacefully away at Callingwood Downs Senior's Home, Clarkes Beach on Saturday, May 7, 2016, Sadie C. 'Chrissie' Hudson (nee Crowley) of Blackhead, in her 90th year. Predeceased by husband: Edward J. 'Ted'; daughter: Elsie; brothers: Robert and James; sisters: Mildred and Emilean. Leaving to mourn, one son: Douglas (Sandra), Paradise; one daughter: Joan (Ron) Dwyer, Blackhead; four grandchildren: Christopher (Karen), Trevor (Kimberley), Grant (Karen), and Robyn (Scott); five great-grandchildren: Megan, Eric, Sophie Rose, Julia, and Natalie; one brother: Clarence (Violet) Crowley, Western Bay; very special niece: Judy (Sam) Bourne, Carbonear and their children: Samantha (David), Douglas (Kathy), Jason (Krista) and their families; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Monday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Blackhead.
