September 20, 1925 – May 19, 2016 Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, May 19, 2016, Patricia Galway of Riverhead Harbour Grace, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: Leo; daughter: Pats Shier; grandson: Darryl Gosse; brother: George French; sisters: Mary Skinner, Rose Taylor and Alice Dawe. Leaving to mourn, children: Sandra (David) Galway, Labrador City, Dennis (Linda), Carbonear, Daphne (Bill) Dunigan, New Perlican, Gerard (Carolyn), Torbay, Jacinta, British Columbia, Tony (Margie), Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Derek (Glenda Howse), St. John’s; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; son-in-law: Scott Shier, Ontario; sister: Ruby (Ed) Whelan, Harbour Grace; brother-in-law: Peter Dawe, Bay Roberts; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Saturday, May 21 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, May 23 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
