Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2016, Clarence W. Crowley of Western Bay, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: Eli and Elsie; two brothers and three sisters. Leaving to mourn, wife: Violet (Johnson); one son: Glen (Joan), Mount Pearl; one daughter: Sharon (Leon) Oliver, Manuels; three grandchildren: Melissa Oliver (Wayne Bruce), Christopher Oliver (Nicole Smith), and Ryan Crowley; sister-in-law: Elizabeth Calloway; brothers-in-law: Clayton Johnson, Raymond (Louise) Johnson, and Rick (Karen) Johnson; a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Sunday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, May 24 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Western Bay South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 159, Broad Cove, NL, A0A 1L0, or to McDowell United Church, P.O. Box 211, Western Bay, NL, A0A 4J0.
