September 24, 1940 - June 22, 2016 Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, Patricia ' Pat' Follett Dawe, retired RN of Carbonear, age 75 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Anna Follett. Leaving to mourn, husband: Aubrey; one sister: Phyllis (Malcolm) LeGrow; Hinton, AB, niece: Janna LeGrow, Hinton, AB and nephew: Ian (Suzanne) and their children, Kayan and Abby, Fort Saskatchewan, AB; special friends: Marie Chubbs and Alice Blundon, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. At Pat’s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, June 26 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3V6 or to donate online visit cancercarefoundation.NL.ca. “Pat died as she lived bravely, privately and with great dignity”
