Obituary of Eriel G. Parsons

August 16, 1935 - July 19, 2016 Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, Eriel George Parsons of Ochre Pit Cove, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: John T. and Melina Parsons, sister: Phyllis Slade (Albert) and (special friend, Kevin Dwyer); brothers: James Parsons and Lloyd Parsons; brothers-in-law: Chris Jenkins and Marcel Belanger. Leaving to mourn, four sisters: Muriel Peddle, Carbonear, Joyce (Chesley) Hurrell, Ochre Pit Cove, Mary (John) Sullivan, Spaniard’s Bay, and Leona Jenkins, Western Bay; sisters-in-law: Shirley Parsons, Ochre Pit Cove and Geraldine Parsons, Millertown; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m, Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 21 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove.
