Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, Jason Delaney of Northern Bay, age 38 years. Predeceased by aunt: Karen Delaney. Leaving to mourn, mother: Louise Oliver (Gussie), Burnt Point; two brothers: Curtis Oliver, Hopedale, Labrador, and Lance Oliver, Burnt Point; one sister: April Oliver (Kenny), Ochre Pit Cove; grandparents: Dominic and Annie Delaney, Northern Bay; uncles: Paul (Valerie) Delaney, Grates Cove, Garry Delaney, Lower Island Cove, and Robert Delaney, Northern Bay; aunt: Carmel Delaney, New Brunswick; step-father: Ronald Oliver, Gull Island; three close friends: Jeramey, Steven, and Jody; and also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Jason Delaney Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
