Passed peacefully away after a short illness at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Friday, February 17, 2017, Glenn Oliver of Gull Island, age 50 years. Predeceased by mother: Dorothy Oliver. Leaving to mourn, father: Andrew, Gull Island; brothers and sisters: Geraldine (John) English, Job’s Cove, Debbie (Rick) Doyle, Grates Cove, Joey (Gail), Gull Island, and Dean (Karen), Mt. Pearl; nieces and nephews: Scott, Kelly, Crystal, Jody, and Jessica; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Glenn Oliver Memorial Fund c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
