Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, Florence B. Buckler of Northern Bay, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Susie Maude Reid; brothers: Gilbert, Robert, and David; sisters-in-law: Beatrice (Douglas) Pender and Emmie (Clarence) Pottle; brother-in-law: Heber Noftle. Leaving to mourn, husband: Clarence; special nephew: Roger (Debbie) Pender, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Naomi Reid, Paradise and Elaxy Noftle, Carbonear; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in the United Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Memorial United Church, c/o Norman Tucker, Site 1, Box 47, Job’s Cove, NL, A0A 2S0.
