Passed peacefully but suddenly away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, April 22, 2017, William E. 'Bill' Crummey of Western Bay, age 75 years. Predeceased by parents: Donald and Jessie; brothers: Stan and Guy. Leaving to mourn, wife: Dorothy; two brothers: Maldwyn (Leah), Victoria and David (Lorraine), Lower Island Cove; special niece: Kristian (Jason) Noonan and their children Olivia and William, Walkerton, ON; special nephew: Philip (Kim) Crummey and their daughter Alannah, Western Bay; sisters-in-law: Yvonne Crummey, Gander, Mary Crummey-Snook, Western Bay, Elizabeth (Ross) Clarke, Lewisporte and Greta (Les) Koons, Florida; brother-in-law: Boyd (Marie) Whalen, Western Bay; also a large number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South.
