Obituary of Florence Snelgrove

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, May 15, 2017, Florence Snelgrove of Lower Island Cove, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Clifford; grandson: Kyle; parents: Charles and Mary Vail. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Florence (Herb) Dawe, Kelligrews; three sons: Harold (Catherine), Mount Pearl, Paul (Cynthia), Lower Island Cove, and Dave (Dionne), Mount Pearl; eight grandchildren: Brad (Jacquie), Curtis (Andrea), Taylor (Trevor), Tara, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Jessica, and Madison; four great-grandchildren: Caitlin, Aidan, Juliet, and Ben; special sister-in-law: Gladys Snelgrove, Montreal; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, P.O.
