Obituary of Ida May (Babb) Weeks

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, Ida May (Babb) Weeks of Harbour Grace, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: James Gordon; infant son: James; parents: William and Bertha Babb; brothers: Graham, Canon Randell, Cyril, and William; sisters: Pearl, Maisie, and Doris. Leaving to mourn, three sons: David (Joanne), Marystown, Rennie, Harbour Grace, and Phillip, St. John’s; five grandchildren: David (Sue-Lynn), Scott (Jolene), Geoffrey (Richelle), Jamie-Lee, and Christopher; four great-grandchildren: Evan, Samuel, Andrew, and Addison; one brother: Lorenzo Babb, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, July 1 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church Restoration Fund, P.O.
