Obituary of Stanley G. Moores

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Monday, July 3, 2017, Stanley G. Moores of Small Point, age 95 years. Predeceased by spouse: Evelyn Jean Kwasnik; brother: William; sister: Louisa; step-sister: Ruby; brothers-in-law: Ralph and Arthur; sister-in-law: Linda and Ruby. Leaving to mourn, two sisters: Eva King, Blackhead and Sarah Powell, Boston, Mass.; two step-brothers: Eric Moores, ON and George Moores, St. John’s; sister-in-law: Margaret Moores, ON; also a large number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, July 5 at 2:30 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Baccalieu Trail S.P.C.A., P.O.
