Obituary of Flora 'Flo' Ash

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, Flora 'Flo' Ash of Harbour Grace, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Theodore; parents: Shenstone and Isabel Parsons; brothers: Hal, Lloyd, and George; sisters: Jean, Dot, Grace, and Jennie. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Marilyn (Mike) Farrell, Hr. Grace; four sons: Jim (Mary), Carbonear, Ted (Mary), Spaniard’s Bay, Paul (Amy), Hr. Grace, Boyd (Gen), Morinville, AB; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Joyce Guilfoyle, Hr. Grace; sisters-in-law: Mary Sheppard, Hr. Grace and Dorothy Parsons, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Hr. Grace on Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Hr.
