Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, Tommy Short of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: Tom and Clarice Short; parents-in-law: James and Rita Yetman; brothers-in-law: Edward Yetman and Gordon Hammond. Leaving to mourn his loving wife: Debby; daughter: Charlene (Gary), son: Andrew (Pam), special granddaughter: Sarah; sisters: Mary (Doug), Eleanor (Tony), Angela, Dorothy (Steve), Anne Marie (Johnny), and Marcella (Derek); brothers: Paul (Mandy), Max (Betty-Ann), and Billy (Joan); brother-in-law: Billy (Judy); sisters-in-law: Mary (Bob) and Beth (DJ); also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Inurnment on Monday, August 21 at 3:00 p.m. in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
