Obituary of Joyce Stephens

Passed suddenly but peacefully away at her residence on Saturday, September 2, Joyce Stephens of Harbour Grace, age 77 years. Predeceased by daughter: Darlene; parents: George and Violet Pike; husband: Leo Yetman; sister: Mary (Duncan) Hunt; brothers: Gerald, Art (Susie), Doug, Dave, Roy, and George (Grace); sister-in-law: Marie Pike; brother-in-law: Ed McCarthy. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Lisa Yetman (Roy Clarke), Carbonear; two sons: Dave (Michelle), Harbour Grace and Adam Sheppard (Samantha), St. John’s; five grandchildren: Terri-Lee (Scott), David (Jessica), Bradley (Brittany), Leah, and Keaton; three great-granddaughters: Adalyn, Charlie, and Samantha; two brothers: Lorne Pike and Rendell (Mary) Pike, both of Harbour Grace; two sisters: Ruth McCarthy, Harbour Grace and Violet (Bill) Sheppard, Harbour Grace South; sisters-in-law: Marie Pike and Una Pike, both of Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. At her request, there will be no public visitation. A private family inurnment to be held in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
