Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, September 7, 2017, Matthew Wm. LaForge of Carbonear; formerly of Ontario, age 77 years. Leaving to mourn one daughter: Christine (Donald) Durnford, Carbonear; one son: Lloyd, Carbonear; four grandchildren: Christopher, Jason, Danielle, and Reece; one great-grandson: Harrison; also a number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, September 9 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. At the family’s request, there is no funeral service or committal.
