It is with deepest regret and heartfelt sorrow, that the family of Olive Martin of Harbour Grace, wishes to extend news of her passing on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 92 years of age.

Born in St. John’s, and raised in Sunnyside, she was a wife, Mother, Grandmother, and a friend to anyone who had the distinct pleasure of knowing her. She was a woman who endeared herself to all, and wore her heart on her sleeve, inspiring those she knew with her kind and gentle disposition, and beautiful spirit. Among her many talents and interests were knitting and crocheting which she truly enjoyed. Her family, however, was her reason for living, her reason for fighting, and her light in the darkness.
