Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 19, 2017, Elwood Snow of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Fred and Emily; sisters: Anna Dale and Margaret Pilgrim; brother: Angus Snow; father-in-law: Fred Rose. Leaving to mourn, wife: Daphne; daughter: Shelly (George) Whelan, Victoria; mother-in-law: Helen Rose, Victoria; three brothers: Fred (Bessie) and Bill (Della), both of Freshwater, Carbonear, and Eric (Diane), Hopeall; sister: Clarrie Case, Salmon Cove; sister-in-law: Sue (Bruce) Parsons, Victoria; brother-in-law: Dorn Rose, Victoria; aunt: Naomi Case; uncle: Elwood Case; cousin and special friends: David and Janice Rossiter; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. A private family inurnment to be held in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear.
