Obituary of Bessie Andrews

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, Bessie Andrews of Harbour Grace, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband: Chesley; parents: Walter and Ella May French; two sisters: Elsie (George) Crane and Annie Maidment; one brother: Henry. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Doreen Burden (Charles), Brigus and Donna Bursey, Harbour Grace; two sons: Henry (Wanda), Harbour Grace and David, Toronto; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister: Kay (Gordon) Sheppard, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Inurnment in Coughlan United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
