Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, Gerard Delaney of Gull Island, age 67 years. Predeceased by father: Lewis Chaulk; mother: Mary R. Doyle; brothers: Brendan and David. Leaving to mourn, wife: Mary; one daughter: Cynthia Gardwine, Winnipeg, MB; one son: Ronald (Crystal), Burnt Point; seven grandchildren: Shane, John, Jermaine, Travis, Dani, Alisha, and Tyler; three brothers: Danny (Donna) Doyle, Broad Cove, Luke Doyle (Dale), Hant’s Harbour, and Edwin (Wanda) Doyle, Gull Island; one sister: Josephine (Lloyd) Lush, Yellowknife, NWT; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
