Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, Sandi Phillips of Carbonear; formerly of Winnipeg, MB and Victoria, NL, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents: Pat and Mabel Patterson. Leaving to mourn, husband: James 'Jim'; two sons: Scott Miller, Winnipeg and James (Tracey) Cox, Ontario; one step-son: Kevin, British Columbia; two step-daughters: Karleene (Robert, deceased) Schmidt and Katherine (Lance) McCauley, both of British Columbia; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; one brother: Vern Patterson, St. John’s; also a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, February 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment to take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Baccalieu Trail S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 273, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1B7.
