Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, Marie J. Hollett of Adam's Cove, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Frank, daughter: Joan, son: Derrick, and brother: Joseph. Leaving to mourn, four grandchildren: Chad (Heather), Sonya (Paul), Kenneth (Renee), and Jamie; nine great-grandchildren: Jordan, Peter, Michael, Leslie, Caroline, Alexandra, Deacon, Elliott, and Jessie; sister-in-law: Evelyn Janes; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Blackhead. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Blackhead United Cemetery Fund, c/o Guy Bishop, P.O. Box 3, Broad Cove, NL, A0A 1L0.
