My thoughts are with the family today as you share the sorrow of my dear friends passing . I did not know all of the family , but was a great friend with Minnie so many years ago. I had the privilege of seeing Willie one time last summer. Will be my last hug from him. Willie was a very important part of the twelve years I spent in visiting Western Bay. A great man with a very caring, kind, giving soul. I have so many memories of laughter and fun with Willie in my heart. There will never be another Willie, his memory will forever be etched in my heart. If we never met for years, he was always the same to me when we did. Willie and Minnie were such a great part of my younger years, there will never be another two who expressed such love and joy to friends and family .. No matter who they were, they were welcomed in the home, given a cup of tea and whatever they had to eat, would greatly share it. I am deeply saddened for the family at this Christmas season and wish to send each family member and friends a huge hug at this great time of loss .. Willie will never be forgotten may he rest in peace

I will truly miss Willie, he often made me laugh and had a great spirit about himself that was always willing to help others before himself.
