It is with a very sad heart that we’ve learned of Robin’s tragic passing. Her obituary certainly explained who Robin was and how dedicated she was to her family and friends. Robin was also dedicated to her community of Salmon Cove and was very vocal in her support of events and happenings. She will certainly be missed. Rest in peace Robin.

Shawn, Hailey, Harmony, Hudson, Garry, Ryan, and Rodney, I can’t believe I am writing this. My heart has been with all of you since I heard of Robin’s passing. Robin, I have so many memories of us growing up together—from sharing our first kisses on the same night and comparing how they went, to countless sleepovers and singing karaoke at your house while your mom sat back and laughed at us. I remember high school graduation and having the privilege of standing beside you as you married the love of your life. I am so sorry that we lost touch over the years, but I always treasured our friendship and the memories we shared. I am deeply sorry that I am unable to be there to say goodbye. Certainly not a message I want to pass on. But from the bottom of my heart to the smiles on our cheeks when we were in the same room, I will dearly and truly miss you. I can’t imagine how all the family are feeling. And while it maybe just a shock right now, in time, the smaller things we all cherish now will become bigger without her. So as each day goes by, you must look out for one another and take those times to share a memory of Robin, good or bad. It will keep you all anchored to one another and especially to her. Sending all my love to the entire family. I’ll miss you too Robin. It’s hard being in this world with so little guidance and good people, ones who are hard to find but once they go, you feel how hard it is to let them go. I truly wish we could have 1 more get-together Robin, to dance, get all dressed up, have a few drinks, laugh at simply anything, have our smoke, fix ourselves in the BR while saying something funny til it hurts. Robin, where do I begin. You have been such a great blessing in my life since 1998. You helped me through some very tough times over the years. We would always laugh about how we knew each other when people asked. I wouldn’t change not one second of our friendship. You shown and took on Austin as your own boy and I’m very proud to call you his second mom. Even with our sweet angel Amberlee, you took on her as well and made sure to celebrate her short life every single year. Shawn & Family, My heart sunk to my feet the other day hearing the news of Robin’s passing. I have so many memories of Robin, Ashley, Deanne and I as kids. She was always the life of the party, always ready to have fun or get in trouble. Whether it was sleepovers, scary movies, baseball in the grove, playing in the cobbyhouse pretending to be Joey McIntyre’s girlfriend (you’ll have to google him), being the first to memorize a new song lyrics, or trading Barbie’s - she was always right there. Hailey, Harmony, and Hudson, I know all too well what you’ll go through over the days, weeks, and years to come. Something about losing your mom, never quite adds up or makes sense, or even something you “just get over”. Just remember you have each other to lean on and know that she is still with you and will continue to guide you. The smallest things will remind you of her and bring a smile to your face - that’s how you’ll know she’s there. Sending strength to you all in the days to come April
