Murray & Judy.....Pamela & Robin....You have my heart felt condolences ! on the passing of your Dad. To me he was always my big brother, the one who gave me money as a child. The brother who dragged me all over the froze mash, across from our house, with me holding on to the end off his hockey stick..I have so many good memories of him...Elihu..aka Ly-lo you were and still is my brother, for 63 yrs. I consider this a blessing.....A little story..When Ly-lo was young he drove our mom crazy, he would pull pranks on her all the time, like un tieing her apron strings. one time he hit he on the elbow with a stick...well she chased him around the yard, until he tripped and fell down..she got to him, she said '' well Jan he looked up at me with those big blue eyes and said '' don't hit me mommy you might hurt me '' mom said she laughed until she cried '' Love you Ly-lo Rest peacely !!!
So sorry to hear of the Elihu’s passing . He was a part of our 50+group in Victoria , he always took the time to have a chat and a laugh. He will certainly be missed. God Bless . RIP my friend ..
There is a funny story I have to share with you all. In Fall of 1967 when I got to Toronto, my brothers Elihu and Clifford were both starting jobs as security guards. Both had uniforms on and caps like RCMP’s. So they had to take a street car. So Ford, Cole and myself went along for the ride. Well sir, something ticked off Ford and myself - can’t remember what. Started calling them Schultz and Klink from Hogan’s Heroes (tv show). Cliff was overweight - fit the part of Schultz. Well Ford and I never laughed so much in all our lives. People thought we were crazy of course. Cliff and Elihu didn’t think it was funny at all. I laugh when I think of that till this day.
Will see you again Brother when God calls us all home.
Love ya.

My dear brother Elihu, it is with great sadness that I have to write this. You were taken from us unexpectedly too soon, but I want everybody who reads this to know that you were the hardest working guy I ever knew.
Your Brother Jabez (Jabe).
