Obituary of Eliza R. Rose

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning, November 12, 2017, Eliza R. Rose of Salmon Cove, at the wonderful age of 97 years and 6 months. Predeceased by husband: Hubert; parents: Israel and Florence Clarke of St. Thomas Line, St. Philip’s; parents-in-law: John and Naomi Rose of Salmon Cove; brothers: Hubert, Vincent, James, and Ernest; sister: Hazel. Leaving to mourn, loving and devoted son: Fred, Salmon Cove; son: Baxter (Catherine), Portugal Cove; grandson: Michael (Tanya) and precious great-granddaughter: Zoe “Granny’s little maid”, St. Philip’s; good friends: Sheila and Harry Rose and Mary Swain of Salmon Cove; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Riverside United Church, P.O.
