Passed peacefully away at the Lion's Manor, Placentia on Thursday, November 16, 2017, James P. Fitzpatrick of Toronto; formerly of Carbonear, age 93 years. Predeceased by wife: Florence; parents: Patrick and Ellen; brothers: Thomas and Leo; sisters: Ann and Sister Mary Lucille; brother-in-law: James Brien. Leaving to mourn, two sisters: Mary Brien and Patricia (John) Murphy, both of Carbonear; special niece: Regina; special nephew: Kevin; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, November 20 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. As per James’ wishes, interment will take place with his wife Florence in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill, ON.
