Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, April 16, 2018, Bessie S. Lambert of Burnt Point, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Herbert C.; parents: Robert and Blanche Oliver; brothers: Jethro (Mollie) Oliver and Hedley Oliver. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Sandra (Harvey) Tucker, Burnt Point; two sons: Cecil (Sheila), Scarborough, ON and David (Renee Murrin), Salmon Cove; six grandchildren: Cory (Jennifer), Holly (Bernard), Jennifer, Michael, Melissa (David), and Glenn; three great-grandchildren: Khloe, Avery, and Lauren; two brothers: Winston (Kathleen) Oliver, Burnt Point and Ralph Oliver (Nellie), Heart’s Content; two sisters: Cavel Piercey, Heart’s Content and Liz Clark, Gander; sister-in-law: Bernice Oliver, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Then resting at Bethel United Church on Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel United Church and Cemetery, Sibley's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Bethel United Church or Cemetery Fund, General Delivery, Sibley’s Cove, A0B 1H0.
