Obituary of Minnie A. Wilcox

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2018, Minnie A. Wilcox of Western Bay, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: James W.; parents: John and Lucy Mesher; brother: Reuben; sisters: Bertha and Sarah. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Marilyn Wilcox, Western Bay and Vianne Hannon, St. John’s; four sons: Tony (Margaret), William, and Terry, all of Western bay, and Gary, St. John’s; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay North. No flowers by request, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association, 15 Pippy Place, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3X2.
