Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Saturday, July 25, 2020, Ann Johnson of Gull Island, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Michael; parents: Arthur and Rebecca Oliver; sisters: Sarah (Fred), Gert (Philip), and Marie; brother: Peter. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Ethel Keating, Dana (Darryl) Hall, and Annie (Gary) Hall, all of Brampton, ON; four sons: Arthur, Gull Island, Edward (Bonnie), Western Bay, Derrick (Josie), Tilton, and Darryl (Paula), Gull Island; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Maureen Oliver, RN, Gull Island; special friends: William Fahey and Mabel Pilgrim, both of Northern Bay; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Following government legislation due to the pandemic, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay followed by funeral service at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay by invitation only. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. No flowers by request, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NL, 835 Topsail Road, Unit 107, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 3J6 or online at Alzheimer.ca.
