Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, on Thursday, October 22, 2020, Maysie E. Oliver of Burnt Point, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Eli; sons: David and Don; parents: Joseph and Sadie Anthony; brothers: Gerald and Harvey. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Deborah (Bert) Anthony, Grates Cove; one grandson: Adrian (Jessica); two great-grandchildren: Mackenzie and Morgan; three sisters: Margaret, Shirley, and Florence, all of Nova Scotia; residents and staff at Luxury Estates, Carbonear; also a number of other relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay, followed by funeral service at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay, by invitation only. Interment in the United Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
