Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, on Saturday, October 24, 2020, Margaret Hancock of Carbonear, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: Frederick and Sarah Hiscock; sisters: Wilma (Eli) Dowden, and Ella Hiscock; brother: John (Janet) Hiscock. Leaving to mourn, her husband of 60 years: Harold; three children: Scott (Lori), St. John’s, Blaine (Helen), Carbonear, and Jolene (Mark), St. Phillip’s; seven grandchildren: Jillian (Chris), Mark, Abby, Johannah (Andrew, and his daughter: Leah), Michael (Hannah), Claire, and Katie; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. Funeral service will take place at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear, by invitation only. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
