Passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, November 15, 2020, Rose Marie Stone of Carbonear; formerly of Harbour Grace South, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Francis; parents: Peter and Elizabeth Gosse; brothers: Lloyd and Cecil; sisters: Diane Pittman and Vivian Day. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Bride (Hiram) Peddle, Spaniard’s Bay and Brenda (Neil) Trickett, Carbonear; two sons: Terry (Marie), Bryant’s Cove and Howard 'Dick', Ontario; seven grandchildren: Stacey, Scott (Shaundra), Brittany (Christopher), Peter (Chelsey), Trevor (Chelsea), David (Kayla), and Devon; five great-grandchildren: Layla, Logan, Quayde, Roedyn, and Lelynd; two sisters: Violet (Greg) Winter, St. Johns, and Doreen (Junior) Parsons, Bay Roberts; brother-in-law: Frank Day, Foxtrap; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear, followed by funeral service at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear, by invitation only. Cremation to follow. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. No flowers or donations by request.
