Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 18, 2021, Dorothy 'Dot' Butler of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Patrick; parents: Albert & Jessie Earle; sisters: Anne (Samuel) Mutrey and Stella (Nelson) Taylor; brothers: John (Florence) Earle, James Earle, Clarence Earle, and Arthur (Hazel) Earle; parents-in-law: Thomas and Sadie Butler; brothers-in-law: Gerald Thomey, Tom Butler and Jim (Kathleen) Butler. Leaving to mourn, one sister: Violet Thomey, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Mary Earle and Veronica Earle, both of Carbonear; brother-in-law: Richard Butler, Carbonear; special nieces: Edith Griffin and Jessie Thomey, both of Carbonear; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear, followed by funeral service at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear on Thursday, January 21st, by invitation only. Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. ************
