Obituary of Austin Vaters

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, January 24, 2021, Austin Vaters of Salmon Cove, age 70 years.
Predeceased by parents: Mark and Myra; sister: Judy.
Leaving to mourn, six brothers: Gerald (Vera), Conception Bay South, David (Myra), Salmon Cove, George (Yvonne), Edmonton, AB, Don (Betty), Salmon Cove, Mark (Kathy), Conception Bay South, and Wayne (Paula), Salmon Cove; brother-in-law: Derrick Vaters, Victoria; best friend: Wallace Budden, Salmon Cove; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 27 from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear, by invitation only. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Austin Vaters Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
