Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, Bridget Traverse of Kingston, age 86 years.
Predeceased by husband: Michael 'Mike'; daughter: Angela 'Ang' Earle; grandson: Ronnie Johnson; son-in-law: Cecil Buckler; parents: Robert and Mabel Rose; brother: Norman (Edna) Rose; sisters: Madeline (John) Martin and Margritte (Bill) Power; parents-in-law: John 'Johnny' and Catherine 'Kate'; sisters-in-law: Bridget 'Bride' (Anthony) Merrigan; Anastasia (Richard) Slade, and Theresa (Timothy) Fahey; brothers-in-law: David and Jim; special friends: Helen Butt, Annie Traverse, and Tom White.
Leaving to mourn, children: Marg (Ronald) Johnson, Joan (Brenden) Milley, Jean Buckler, Aggie (Edward) Doyle, Michael (Bonnie), Tiny (Royden) King, Bob (Michelle), Bernice (Dennis) Sellars, and Dennis (Joanne); son-in-law: Dave Earle (Liz); a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother: Ron (Elizabeth) Rose; two sisters: Angela Power and Marie (Neville) Lockyer; brothers-in-law: Bill, Jack (Bride), Phil (Marg); sister-in-law: Mary; longtime friend: Ebin White; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private committal service will take place on Friday, February 26 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston.
