Passed suddenly but peacefully away at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Paul Vaters of Harbour Grace, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Mary; infant brother: Ricky; father-in-law: Eric Earle. Leaving to mourn, wife: Marina; one daughter: Lisa, Harbour Grace; one son: Shawn (Renee), Harbour Grace; five grandchildren: Christian (Erica) and Andrew (Dakota), and Brianna (Jeremy), Noah, Hilary, and their father, Chris Pike, Harbour Grace; fur baby: Duck; four brothers: Bill (Linda), St. John’s, Aubrey (Pam, deceased), Alberta, Terry, Harbour Grace, and Roger (Karen), Cupids; four sisters: Georgina (George, deceased) Vaters, Harbour Grace, Joan (Jacob) Poulson, Bay Roberts, Betty (Terry) Stone, Bryant’s Cove, and Bonnie Parsons, Bay Roberts; mother-in-law: Ann Earle, Shearstown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Carol (Ches) Snow, Bay Roberts, Eric (Bev) Earle, Shearstown, Sandra (Noel) Brace, Bay Roberts, Pauline (John) Rose, Ochre Pit Cove, Bryan (Patsy) Earle, Shearstown, Rodney (Dawn) Earle, Trinity Bay, Scott (Camille) Earle, and Kerry (Jeremy) Jacobs, both of Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A private visitation to take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace, followed by funeral service on Saturday, April 10 at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace, by invitation only due to the pandemic.
