Obituary of Ellen 'Nellie' Morris

Passed peacefully away while surrounded by her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, Ellen 'Nellie' Morris (nee Blundon) of Lower Island Cove, age 83 years.
Predeceased by her husband and best friend for 58 years, Donald 'Don'; parents: John & Sarah Blundon; parents-in-law: William John and Mary Ann Morris; infant sister: Marina Blundon; sister: Jennie Riggs; brother-in-law: Llewelyn Riggs.
Leaving to mourn the loves of her life, her four children: Debbie (Allan), Perry (Shellie), Connie (Steve), and Donette (Mark); her four grandchildren: Jesse (Morgan), Regan (Jordan), Sierra (Jamie), and Brooklyn; special family member: David Reynolds; also a large number of relatives and friends.
A special thank-you to the Doctors and Nurses of the Health Sciences Centre.
Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 8 at Memorial United Church, Burnt Point, by invitation only.
Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Memorial United Church, Burnt Point, c/o PO Box 54, Lower Island Cove, A0A 2W0.
