We were so sorry and saddened to hear of Lils passing. She was one of a kind, a true lady in the old fashioned sense but she was anything but old fashioned. She wanted always to experience life to the fullest, always kind, always seeing the good, pushing the envelope. She and Jim were good friends to my parents and later Mom enjoyed Lils company on a couple of girls road trips. She really loved her life.. My condolences to the family.

Sorry to hear of Lillian’s passing. She was one of my former residents at PJSMP. She would often knock on my office door and always had little tokens of appreciation like chocolates to give. When I retired last year she gave me a stained glass owl which I have hanging in my dining room window as a reminder of a very spirited, caring and kind lady. RIP

So sorry to hear of Lillian’s passing. I came to know her a few years ago when my Mom was admitted to the home and in short time considered her to be a true friend to both me and my Mom. She was always supportive in sad times and always ready to celebrate the good with us. She truly did become part of our family. We will miss her kind heart and gentle soul.

To all of Nan's family
It is certainly a sad day to know this lovely soul has left this world. She lived life to the fullest. I and the staff of (Luxury Estates) now Lanes Retirement got to know and love her like our own nan. Always a big smile, treats, and a kind word. She had a bucket list and made it her mission to fulfill it. Oh how I remember the day she got her ride on a helicopter. She was so excited. We all watched as she flew over. She will be missed. But is now an angel to be sure. God bless you nan.

Sorry to hear of Mrs. Butt's ( Nan Butt, as we all knew her) passing. I knew her from when she lived in Freshwater and later moved to Victoria where she attended Victoria United church. Later when we did worship services at both homes where she resided. She loved the singing. She was a very beautiful and spirited lady who enjoyed life at it's fullest. Our condolences to the family. Farewell nan butt.❤

I am so saddened to see this beautiful face here - Lillian was a “nan” to everyone who had the privilege to know her .. she was a kind loving and very generous woman. I got the honour to cross paths with Lillian during my time working at PJSMP and while their she became my “adopted nan” and I became her “kitten” , we shared many great memories together in the three short years I got to know her, we had many laughs together, cry’s, secrets shared ,and many many takeout nights during work hahah!! I got to see Lillian just this last week , she said she missed me and gave me a kiss , we had such a long hug, it done my heart so good! You rest easy sweet angel and keep a eye out on me, Love you !

The butt family. So sorry to hear of her passing. She was loved dearly by everyone. She was like a mother to me when mom died. Nobody came to her house unless they had a cup of tea. Sadly missed. Dianne and Doug Rowe
