Obituary of Doris Belle Bursey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Belle Bursey, age 91 years, of Jobs Cove, on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Predeceased by parents: John and Annie Halliday; sisters: Eliza (Alfred) Button and Beatrice Squires.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories, dearest husband of 66 years: Frank; one daughter: Debbie (Ken) Clements; one son: Craig (Philomena); two grandchildren: Juanita (Marcus) and Kendsey (Chris); two great-grandchildren: Ethan and Eli; sister-in-law: Irene Bursey; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Doris ‘Dot’ was devoted to the Red Cross, the United Church, her community and her family.
At her request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 15, from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay, by invitation only.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Brain Cancer Foundation of Canada at braintumour.ca.
