Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, September 10, 2021, Robert E. Sheppard of Bay Roberts, age 85 years.
Reunited with his beloved wife Elizabeth. Predeceased by parents: Robert and Mary; two sisters: Marjorie Helen and Margaret Rose; four brothers: Alfred Donald, Russell, Frank and Raymond.
Leaving to mourn, daughter: Cindy (Gary), Montreal; two brothers: Ken (Olive) and Billy (Valerie); sister: Joyce (Henley, deceased) Stone; best friend and brother-in-law: Eric (Rhoda) Smith; special niece: Erica Smith (Loren); members of the Smith family, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the staff and residents of Collingwood Downs Retirement Home, Clarke’s Beach and to the Palliative Care Team at the Carbonear General Hospital.
At Robert’s request, cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Saturday, September 18, by invitation only.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
