Obituary of Brendan Rice

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Monday, December 6, 2021, Brendan Rice of Red Head Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by son: Gary; daughter: Karen; parents: Thomas and Charlotte; brother: Edmond; sister: Mary. Leaving to mourn, wife: Margaret; one son: Kirk (Juanita), Bay de Verde; daughter-in-law: Marjorie Rice, Sibley’s Cove; four grandchildren: Chad, Terrance, Jacob, and Erica; six great-grandchildren: Gary, Ruby Jane, Brenda, Kaden, Kylie, and Kolton; two brothers: Joseph (Margaret) and Robert (Marie), both of Red Head Cove; one sister: Helen Richards, Barrie, ON; mother-in-law: Anastasia Hannon, Low Point; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Tuesday, December 14 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Interment will take place at a later date. Proof of vaccination must be shown to attend visitation and funeral mass.
