It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Terry P. Stone of Bryant's Cove on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the age of 62 years. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 35 years, Marie; two sons: Scott (Shaundra Onushko), Comox, BC, and children: Logan and Elouise; Peter (Chelsey), Melfort, SK, and children: Quayde, Roedyn, Lelynd, and Milayna; brother: Howard; sisters: Bride (Hiram) Peddle and Brenda (Neil) Trickett; brother-in-law: Gordon (Sadie) Yetman; sisters-in-law; Wanda Yetman and Beverly Yetman; ten nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Gone on ahead and waiting to greet him with open arms are parents: Francis and Rose Stone; parents-in-law: George and Jessie Yetman; brothers-in-law: Ron and Norman Yetman; sister-in-law: Sandra Stone; and several aunts and uncles. Terry passed away at home surrounded by his wife, sons, and special sister-in-law, Wanda. Since his diagnosis of Mesothelioma two years ago, our special friends, Vina and Gary Davis have been with us every step of the way. Our “buddies” Sandy and John Stone were also there to share a story and laugh whenever needed. We were also very fortunate to have our friend, Arleen Neil, as a beacon of light during this journey. The nurses and doctors at Carbonear General Medical Day Care were so kind, as well as Dr. Megan Hayes and Dr. Jehan Siddiqui. Following pandemic guidelines, visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday, January 25 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service by invitation only on Wednesday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, Bryant's Cove. Proof of vaccination required for visitation and funeral service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Daffodil Place, 70 Ropewalk Lane, St. John’s, NL, A1E 5T2, online at cancer.ca or a charity of one’s choice. *****
