Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Monday, January 24, 2022, Catherine 'Kay' Moores of Victoria, age 88 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Mary Ann Keating; grandson: Farron Sutton; brothers: John, Jim, Kevin, and Bill; sisters: Lil, Beth, Anna, Loretta, Mary, and Bride. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Fay (Ron) Slade and Jackie Grimes, both of Victoria; two sons: Clyde (Debbie) and Byron (Jennifer) both of Victoria; ten grandchildren: Santeena (Mark), Sonya (Jason), Aaron (Amy), Becky (Perry), Krista (Roy), Mason, Rylee, Kaitlin, Keenen, and Breah; fourteen great-grandchildren: Jacob, Seger, Emma, Georgia, Cameron, Calen, Serina, Dylan, MacKenzie, Courtney, Calen, Brody, Quinn, and Ava; one granddaughter-in-law: Tracey; one sister: Carmel Joy, Conception Harbour; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Following pandemic guidelines, visitation by invitation only at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, January 26. Funeral service by invitation only on Thursday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria. Proof of vaccination required for visitation and funeral service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 5E9, online at heartandstroke.ca.
